I think maybe the cement I mixed was a bit thick because I had quite a lot of air bubbles and holes. I will try again

My daughter makes soap and I wanted to craft with resin. So I chose this form to run their business. Excellent quality, already made several resin soap dishes. There is a little flaw in the shape but I can sand it down.

I love this shape! I used it on resin and instead of a nice glossy finish it came out rather matte. I should have expected that when he said concrete. This detail was quickly remedied by applying a layer with a clear, glossy finish. Love it!

molds are great for working with cement. I would recommend making a drip tray if you're thinking of using it on the counter to keep water and soap out of the holes on the counter. I was also hoping to make resin soap dishes but they don't come out shiny and I put too much effort into sanding them to want to do it again.
