Nikon 6 1MP Digital Camera Body Review

I love the feel of this camera in my hand. I used it for many years before it started floating. Then I bought a high-end camera. While I love the bells and whistles of the 5000, I love the feel of the D40 in my hand. It's a part of me and takes great photos. I bought it used, as a spare and for rowing, but it's my favorite.

The 1st Web Deals seller had these for $50 when delivered and said they came with two batteries, a strap and a charger came with the camera body. I received all but one battery and it wasn't even a Nikon battery. But the camera works and is in good condition, so I spend a little more and get a second battery.

This is my third Nikon D40. I had D80 and D7000. They all have great features, but the D40 takes great pictures, it's cheaper and it's very light. Paired with a 35mm f1.8 fixed lens, this is the perfect travel camera. I bought this camera with a NIKON 55-200 f/4.5-5.6G ED IF AF-S DX VR lens both in new condition for $300. I paid another $45 for mirror cleaning. The autofocus lens is quiet, fast and very accurate.
