I have an older model Ninja chopper and have had to replace the jug bowl twice. I use this chopper almost every day and the only thing that wears out is the bowl. I could replace everything for about the same price but I love the model I have and will continue to use it as long as it works.

Lasted less than 2 months with daily use. It leaked, but wasn't dropped or anything that would indicate the source of the leak. So I make bulletproof coffee every morning: coffee, stevia, cocoa powder, cream, butter, and medium-chain triglycerides. Which of these can cause problems? Since it was leaking I used the larger jug that originally came with Ninja: two months and I need to replace it.

I use my Ninja to brew Bulletproof coffee which requires high speed mixing to properly mix the coconut oil/MCT oil into the coffee. I had to go through four of them before I realized they couldn't handle hot liquids; They will break and leak after about a dozen uses. It's literally the only thing I use the 16-ounce jug for, so I had to put it in the cupboard and buy a milk frother. Fits bowl. NO COVER as shown in the photos. Sellers in the comments indicate that this item is without a lid, but do not indicate this in the description. You shouldn't advertise on BOTH PHOTOS, then it won't be. If it is a replacement part, it should say "BOWL ONLY, LID NOT INCLUDED". Because of this I removed 2 starts. Will tear easily with regular use. Brand new got a few hairline cracks around the perimeter when I was blending frozen fruit for a smoothie. I have a third one and I know I NEVER use it over ice or frozen veggies. **Update** 3 weeks after replacing the third one, it has cracks too! Original cracks developed when used on ice.
