This case will fit 3ds not 3ds XL so check before you buy! at the risk of breaking the suitcase or doing something unusual with it. The slots for charging games are also very nice, elastic, which hold games very well. I recommend to all my friends. 5/5

It's a little tight but you can install the new 3DS (regular size with interchangeable faceplates, not the XL model). As another reviewer said, just lay it face down (see photos). I had a hard time deciding between this and the executive case but this one is great for the price. If you put in a new 3DS plus at least one row of game cartridges, the case will swell a bit, but that's nothing to worry about.

Dude it's hard to find a regular 3DS/"new" 3DS case that only fits in the normal and not for XL. I upgraded from XL to the 'new' 3DS (not XL) so much to my chagrin almost all aftermarket/third party accessories as of May 2016 are aimed at the XL crowd. Luckily I came across this case. This case gives me the compact size, protection, and game storage capacity I wanted, and the price is fantastic, hard to beat at $5!

I'm not a big fan of the bulky cases that come with my 3DS and I'm very careful with my electronics so all I needed was something to carry around, store games and set up lights when using Play on the table surface. It worked great. It holds 6 game cartridges securely and the divider is awesome - it prevents the cartridges themselves from scratching the DS. EDIT: So I tried flipping my 3ds so the camera cover was on the bottom of the case and it fitted perfectly without holding the L and R buttons! I think it can really work! INITIAL REVIEW: Overall a good case for original 3ds or DSi/Lite but will not fit your new non-XL version of 3ds. You can slide it in there but the L and R buttons get pressed all the time when it's in and it's pretty tight and I'm pretty sure it's not good for the buttons, too bad really is a good case for an amazing price…

Great stylish case. It's about 1.6 times bigger and deeper than the 3DS, so not too bulky. It comes with 6 games which is great and 2 pens. They are covered with a small soft pad that protects your 3DS from scratches caused by games or styluses. It's small enough to fit in large pockets and offers decent protection. The 3DS hardly moves inside and the zipper protects the 3DS from dust and dirt. Overall I am very happy with this case and would recommend it to anyone who needs a case of any type.

Does everything it promises to do, sort of. I gave 3 stars at first and then thought about it and moved it to 2. Games have more padding than the system itself. Hopefully, if you ever drop it, it'll fall on top. If it falls on the ground, I worry it will break. I even bought another suitcase for it because I don't trust the thing.
