I bought this as a cheaper alternative to the snap on tool they have because I wanted another in another car and found out it was the original was, and it's so much better, and so much cheaper.

I couldn't use a regular steelie ball because my car doesn't have flat surfaces. I bought this mount out of desperation having spent money on a magnet. I love it! It can be moved without much effort. It sticks and holds my heavy phone and case.

So far it's working exactly as I intended. Great addition to the Night Eze Steelie set I already own. NOTE: I HAVE A GPS SUCTION CLEANER ATTACHED TO THE HARD DRIVE. They do not stick to rough surfaces. Suction seems to be holding up very well.

The build quality is good, feels solid after sticking on the windshield and tightening. Over the past few weeks I've noticed that depending on the angle the phone is placed, it matters how much it moves while driving. If you look straight ahead, it will likely move and eventually point down. If you look up a little, it's more likely to stay in place.

Works as advertised with good strong magnet, but on a larger phone (Note 8 or Note 9 or Pixel 3 or larger iPhone) the weight of the phone tends the phone down below while stumbling over bumps in the road as you move. More importantly, the magnet on the back of the phone prevents the flow from working properly (and prevents the flow from registering on the screen where the magnet is on the back of the device).
