Niteangel Hamster Feeding Water Bowls Review

This little bowl is perfect in every way! I've used a 2 ounce bowl before and this is slightly larger but holds the same amount of water. The small mountain inside ensures that the hamster CANNOT climb in or drown. He can only drink from the small crowd surrounding the craggy mountain. Bonus in the beauty of the bowl. It was securely packed with no risk of damage. Well done all round.

I installed it in the hamster cage as a second water option in addition to the water bottle. I understand that vacuum water bottles can get stuck and not work, and while I check his bottle daily I wanted there to be a safe water option for him. This beautiful trash can makes it possible! Perfect size and no sinking through the central hill. Made of glass and easy to clean which is good as my hamster likes to pee in it every now and then.

First of all I want to say that these are excellent bowls. My assessment of the bowls in general. Well designed and heavy, perfect for small hams. However, I just received my third one last week and found that its quality doesn't compare to the other two. It's lighter, the rim is very thin, and even the ledge in the center of the bowl looks smaller. Not sure what happened but will not order again if it is new design quality. 1 star review prompted me to write an honest review. For those who actually bought this product, I think it's great. The hamster cannot drown in this plate, to prevent this there is a tiny mountain in the middle. I wanted to switch to a water bowl as it's generally more comfortable for hamsters and I've had no luck with water bottles getting stuck. I bought 3 of these Niteangel water bowls for my Syrian Hamster Kuti and she loves them. They are sturdy, well grounded and safe even for dwarf hamsters. I used to worry about my hamster turning over the tea light holders I used before because Kuti rests his little paws on the rim of the water bowl when he's drinking.
