The only reason I give 3 stars is the size of this hideout. Maybe it's my own fault for not paying attention to the size, but this hutch is tiny and only suitable for a mouse or dwarf, not a guinea pig. Wanted a smaller version of the one I used to buy for my guinea fowl cage but it's too small

This is a big house for a Syrian Hamster. I first bought a small animal nesting medium from Niteangel but it was too small. This is a simpler type of house, but it works well. I highly recommend it to Syrians. I blocked the window with a small dowel because my hamster had climbed through the window first.

My hamster likes to chew on wood so I bought this for him to chew on and live in he loves it so much he rarely goes outside I would find him sleeping outside the plastic house I have i bought him last time but since i bought him this wooden house he has always snuggled in and knocked himself out he also bit him but not as hard as i expected it is perfect for a hamster who loves his solitude

We had to replace their other Niteangel hut because they ate the other one up completely. It was more than the other, but it's very cute. They chew on it a bit (which is good for happy gerbils), but they like to sleep inside and sit upstairs to watch TV with us, so they might not destroy it entirely. As far as we can see, he doesn't have any nails or sharp staples yet.

My hamster loves it! I have a tall friend and he sits nice and snug with space to hold food around. He doesn't really use the front door, he bars it with his shavings and uses the small window on the side as an entrance. So I like that he has two openings to choose from. He's also small enough to climb to the top, so I know he'll want to be picked up. A good product!
