To encourage my kids to play golf we decided to use colorful golf balls. One of my sons wanted these two tone golf balls. The ball works well and when it gets hit you can see the colors change. Because of the color, golf balls can be difficult to find in the rough. I wouldn't use these golf balls if you had a single digit handicap.

I should have listened to other reviewers but I've had these balls before and they were fine. The second hole is in the fog today. I thought I had a good ride, he was hard on the club's head but my partners said he went nowhere and had a weird flight. Of course the flight was weird, it became two separate halves. I later tried another ball and after hitting the green with the eight I only looked at the ball to see cracks in its surface. DO NOT BUY!

I've been using the orange and yellow Nitro Eclipse balls for several years now and have never experienced a crack. However, all other paints I've tried cracked on the first hit with iron or wood. I am very happy with the orange and yellow balloons. I can instantly distinguish my ball from my teammates' ball, although they aren't as visible in the long grass as one might think. Again, I've never cracked an orange and yellow Nitro Eclipse, although every other color has cracked on the first hit.
