NixOS is a Linux distribution with a unique approach to package and configuration management. Built on top of the Nix package manager, it is completely declarative, makes upgrading systems reliable, and has many other advantages.

Great OS with tons of potential: NixOS

I like that everything can be configured via command line or using ncurses (I use this for all my servers). The only problem I have found so far is being able to easily add new packages after booting into an existing system for the first time; however, there are ways around this if you know where they live in /etc/nixos-configuration/* files.
