Poor manufacture in Baby Care

This is the third infrared thermometer I have bought. The first two didn't work at all, so at least I'm thankful for this one. The problem is with the battery cover. The latch prevented opening (it was welded to the base) - I had to use a butter knife to open it - then of course it didn't close fully so I had to tape it shut. But it works, which is my main concern. Since every thermometer is made in China and these companies are now trying to meet the demand in America as best they can, I think

Great health thermometer

I am very impressed with this non-contact thermometer. My job has recently started taking our temperature before we're let in so I used this at home to check my own before I leave so I know if I could come into our lives. I still have an old thermometer at home and it always reads about the same number, so I know it's very accurate.
