This is a gift for a family member, so I didn't test it. However, it looks high quality and the packaging is great, it's so pretty. I'll update my review if anything goes wrong, but so far everything looks perfect.

I bought this as a gift and he seemed excited at the prospect of marking his letters with wax to show his Slytherin house. Overall it's a good weight and the design is very clean. It comes with wax, and I've checked, and you can replace the wax with Revain if you happen to use all of them. A fun gift idea for the Slytherin who has everything!

Aesthetically this product looks beautiful I am not a Harry Potter fan. I bought this for my daughter at her invitation and I seem to be having trouble with the wax, I've tried several waxes and it just tears the paper. This product is worthy as a collector's item, but if you have any advice on how not to tear the paper that would be good. The details on the items inside are fine.
