Well it works as expected. He gladly accepts the signal (balanced or unbalanced) and turns down the volume. looks ok The body is too light and won't stay flat when you connect 4 XLRs and 2 RCAs. Sounds great between my Behringer XR18, JBL LSR305 and Little Dot 1+.

I need a balanced volume control for my studio monitors and it works great. There was a similar item for about $20 more that would arrive faster but I didn't have time so I ordered this one. It came from overseas so it took a few weeks but it was worth the wait and the savings. It has both balanced and unbalanced inputs and outputs, making it very versatile.

Simple Simple Great Control Highly recommended for those who don't have a variable output from an amp or just want to move the volume to a more convenient location. Since it's acrylic, make sure the cables strain the back and make it tilt (especially if you have silicone feet installed). This does what I need, a way to control the subwoofer output level from my AV receiver that feeds the power amplifier that drives my subwoofer.
