If I had the chance to buy them again, I would say no. A little "glamour" doesn't justify the price in my opinion. And they're especially hard to spot if your glass is tinted. Unless you're constantly staring at your suitcase and drooling, I'd skip this add-on. But they do what they're designed to do, so I can't give less than 5 stars just for not seeing the value.

When I saw these first ones I was really wondering if they really deserve all the praise but after getting 2 for different coolers, must I'll just say it's just the perfect finishing touch to any Noctua cooler. I wish the most expensive coolers were included in the package. But in general it's just great quality, really strict and neat design and quality materials. Noctua standards.

It's hard to get over the feeling that they should have been included in the NH-D15. and that at this price they should have RGB. Of course they do what they say so I guess I can't hit that hard and it's a visual improvement over bare heatpipes. Just wanted to say that other coolers include these things in their coolers - Noctua isn't the only game in town anymore.

I bought this product for my NH-U14S because Noctua doesn't offer cases for this cooler model. These caps will fit this cooler model, but make sure your case fits. My NH-U14S in combination with my NZXT H500i does not fit these covers. The caps fit on top of the radiator and look absolutely great, but they extend the top of the radiator by about an inch and will not fit in your case if you have a maximum radiator case height of 165mm. While it doesn't really do anything for the performance, it makes my D15 look like some kind of big electrical switch. it looked cool. These things look very bold and will instantly make your build smoother and bolder. It attaches very well but adds height to your radiator. Make sure your case can be closed with the extra length. On my NZXT H500i on AMD 3900x these covers touch the glass door of my case so I had to add some rubber feet to keep it from touching the glass. Also, the price is too high just for the aesthetics, but if you really hate the nude look of radiators then go for it.

I first bought this to match my computer's color scheme. Black and white with a touch of red. As the owner of an NH-D15 I can probably use it on any future builds so I love that this heatsink can now work with just about any new color scheme in the future. I'm skeptical, but perhaps the shrouds help direct airflow from the fans directly through the cooling fins instead of the sides.

They improve the looks of what may be the best air cooler on the market. They are overrated for what they do as they lack aesthetics. However, they are well made and easy to assemble. If they integrate the ARGB strips into the plastic parts that attach to the heatsink, they could really succeed here.
