Even at low revs, the noise is nowhere to be found. And the airflow drops a lot. Therefore, for all five case fans, I made a separate button. For desktop programs, they are not needed at all. Insanely quiet. I really wish it pushed out a little more air, but I think that's a compromise to make for a fan this quiet. Very professionally packaged. The only thing that really bothered me was how difficult it was to use the included rubber snaps. They weren't stiff enough to fully fit through my case's openings and fan corners. My LED fans in my Cyberpower PC are completely dead. I didn't see the need for LED fans anymore. So I replaced them with these. And very satisfied, easy installation, 10 minutes to remove and install other fans. Extremely quiet at full speed. It's weird to me now, I could hear other fans and see red LEDs. Noctua fans have replaced all manufacturers in my computer case. They are excellent, reliable and very quiet. They can also be made even quieter with the included tire and speed reduction settings. I run this one at full speed and it's quiet and best of all, it's not some ridiculous neon color coming out of the case. Wow. Extremely quiet, even at high speeds. Can't hear the truth Nice packaging and good cables. I use it on a Behringer iNuke 3000DSP amp instead of a standard fan (loud). This fan is not a replacement for this application, but will fit the standard amplifier case when mounted on the top cover and can be placed inside the case. It doesn't move as much air as a louder fan, but it does move air. The anti-lock braking system works very well.

Don't lose these cables! This fan is loud as hell unless you use the included adapter cable to reduce the speed. For the price you pay, you'd think they could at least put a variable speed switch on it, like one of my fans did.

This is a quality fan. Works very quietly, even at full speed. It lost a star due to the difficulty of using rubber "clasps" for attachment to the body. It's almost impossible to use them as shown in the instructions and one of them broke trying to pull it through the hole. Even with a broken clasp it works great.

To replace the compressor fan on my 12 volt fridge (free boat) and now we sleep without the noise of helicopters taking off from the galley every half hour. Definitely Home Media Center! Do yourself a favor and get one of these if you don't need high pressure and have an application where noise needs to be kept to a minimum.
