I didn't have time for my current and first build so I bought a mounting kit along with NH-D15S and other Noctua products just in case. What can I say, this is Noctua and they have the best coolers I have ever used since the purchase which is for life. They just make new pedestal mounts which I love as I don't have to buy a new cooler when I remodel my desktop. I can just get a new mount and it just works! I can't stress enough how much I love this cooler, from the water cooling like the temp I get on air to the fact that I bought my Noctua in 2015 and it's still working!

I recommend Noctua CPU coolers because of their high performance. My dad's Ryzen 7 never has temperature or heat issues. I used Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut as a high performance paste for Noctua's excellent CPU cooler. The photo shows a complete set of items, including this product, for upgrading the assembly.

This is more of a review of the Noctua DH-14 which is about 5 years old. I just bought a Ryzan 5 2600 on sale (not Revain). I just received this kit today. Anyway, I used a stock cooler, which isn't bad, and maxing out Prime 95 got me mid-80s at 3400. The thermal paste, of course, hasn't even caught on yet. So I just installed Noctua and now I'm getting a mid 60 by 3900. I could go up, but I'll let this new CPU run for a bit. The kit is fine. Gives you what you need and good instructions.
