If only it had stereo.

It's so close to being awesome. First, the battery seems pretty good. The interface is fine. I don't like that I have no idea what mic gain is. It just is. pretty reliable (I use this for music practice videos. My current system is: Zoom H1N Line Out -> LiveMic2 -> Android with Cinema FV-5 Lite (I think the Pro would be the same). If it was just stereo I could Get the stereo line out of zoom or *breathe* through another audio interface Since this is the ONLY way to get audio into a VCR on

Pros
  • * Default voice or video recording apps on iPhone/iPad/Android DO NOT support Bluetooth microphone. Users MUST use voice recording apps with Bluetooth microphone support e.g. B. Voice Recorder HD, Audio Recording, Easy Voice Recorder Pro, ReadyMIC, Capture and more...
Cons
  • There is error

I just purchased a Revain LiveMIC Bluetooth Wireless Microphone (P/N NSRXRM3C2MSX) to use with my iPhone 6 for video and audio recording. I had no problem pairing with the Voice Recorder HD app I downloaded, but the LiveMIC was not syncing properly with the iPhone when creating a video. iPhone does not record audio, only video when LiveMIC is enabled and pairing is shown on iPhone. Thanks to Nolan tech support, they suggested to use "Captures by BlueWi" app (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/captu…

Powerful feature in a small package

Surprisingly small! (I was imagining something about the size of a pack of cigarettes, but a standard pack might hold three.) I bought this mic for use in a meeting where some participants were only on Skype. The people in the room pass the microphone on to whoever is speaking. The Nolan LiveMIC is so small that we taped it to a piece of wood so the user could hold something larger. According to our friends on the other end of the Skype connection, Nolan's audio quality was acceptable, but not…

Pros

Long-distance operation up to 20m (66ft) covers most of the conference room, ballroom, classroom, office and home depending on the conditions.
