If you're using boxed (muffin, cake) mixes, this bowl is the perfect size. The top shelf is dishwasher safe. The only downside is that you can't use an electric mixer.

I love that I can use it on a variety of dishes. Everything from tempered chocolate to scrambled eggs. It can be used both in the microwave and in the dishwasher. It has a spout for pouring out liquids.

Nice color and size. i like the pen The only downside is the white ring around the bottom diameter that acts as a brake to keep the bowl in place if the dough tends to fall off. However, it is easy to go back.

The perfect little bowl for a variety of uses. Handle, Spout, Microwaveable. All this is. Nice thick - not thin. I've needed this for so long! I ordered a backup for me and my sister. It is so good.

The price is right and it does the job. Never thought I would use it so much, but it comes in very handy for melting butter, warming maple syrup, warming milk, etc. Sturdy enough not to accidentally knock it over and it has a good spout.

I can't say enough good things about this product! It's a beautiful bright red color. The grip on the side is just great and it feels like it's an appendage I didn't know I needed. Put it in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. Comes out brand new. Best of all, it's made in the USA! I will buy more Nordic Ware products!

While this bowl does its job in some ways, the spout is a major disappointment. The batter spills over the edge of the spout too easily like most of my other batter bowls. I like the grip but I'm afraid it might eventually weaken at the top. But I haven't used it enough to find out. Overall a good product, except for a slightly sloppy nose.

My pandemic-related hobby is making chocolate. After reading that plastic is better for tempering chocolate the easy way (in the microwave) I found this simple little product and it's PERFECT for my needs. It's small and compact, easy to hold while stirring, and the spout has greatly reduced clutter in my kitchen. If you want to gradually melt your food in the microwave, this is the way to go. Glass and even some plastics get too hot for butter or chocolate.
