I am only sharing this information to warn other buyers who have this product. I received it this week. I started using it as the instructions say. I watched it very closely. With all the chemicals and unhealthy oils in microwavable popcorn I wanted to make our own healthier version and I think this Nordic Ware popcorn at a very reasonable price ticks all the right boxes. . I wanted to be able to use healthy oils like coconut or ghee and add my own spices or salt and I loved that you can add these before cooking if you want. I preferred this style to the foldable silicone versions as other silicone products I have are difficult to clean, especially with curing oils.

I originally bought the classic flat top popper despite reviews of the flat top popping loose during cooking as I wasn't aware of the Pro version.
