Advice from an old farm boy.

I am 79 years old, wear dentures and also love corn on the cob - grew up on a farm. Dentures and corn on the cob don't mix well, first bites are almost impossible, so I got this device and it's great. It digs out a row of grains, making it easier to continue the eating process. Love it!

I can't say I don't like this product.

This product does what it is supposed to; However, this creates an incredible mess. That being said, I love fresh lamb's lettuce so I'm sure I'll continue to use it regularly. I just wish there was a way to make this less messy. Maybe I should start cutting fresh corn on the cob outdoors. :-)

Pros
  • Pleasant to use

Powerful Callus Remover

My son has this when he roasts corn on the cob and removes food debris. Some of my lunchtime folks don't like chewing corn on the cob = corn cutter. I would like to remove the cornea with the up and down movement, unfortunately only pull it towards me. But otherwise a solid product and half the price of plastic from the "Big Box" range. If you need one, take this one.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

but it does a great job. It's a lot less messy than just .

I didn't buy this, it was given to me and after reading the reviews I was ready to fuss and throw it away but was pleasantly surprised. I've only used it a few times but it serves its purpose perfectly. It's a lot less messy than just using a knife, it's slower since it's basically one or two rows at a time, but I don't do a lot of corn at once. If and when it gives up I will definitely buy it.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent

Read this review and you will buy one

I have this product and loved it so much I have bought 2 more I have been on a farm and garden for over 50 years, in where our food used to be grown for the coming year. For many years there was no product that worked better than the tried and tested old knife, but when I developed it by hand it became a pain to do and I made 300 or more ears of corn in a few days, it was almost impossible that my husband bought one of those corn strings for fundraising. I tried it with skepticism and have only

Easy to use, easy to clean.

I've never used this type of product so I can't compare it to other soft products. It's very simple and easy to use + it's not difficult to wash/clean at all! The handle is comfortable to hold and the metal part is durable. It doesn't take up too much space in your kitchen drawer. But don't expect every kernel of corn you scrape off a cob to be in perfect condition. The corn on the cob is not quite straight, which sometimes makes it a bit tricky. At the very least, using a corn trimmer is safer

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Good but not great
