They work pretty well but they warp when microwaved. You must use a lid that is much larger than your cup/bowl so the food doesn't splatter. Food splashes due to deformation of the lid. As the lid cools, it will flatten out again. I really wouldn't buy them again; I would find another type of cover.

This is my third set! Not because they don't last. Take care of them and they will serve you for many years. My problem is that the tenants of my house continue to use them but don't return them. So now I have a "public set", a "private set" and a backup set just in case. I usually put it striped side down. Usually hand washed but they are dishwasher safe. They stay in place and I like not having to wipe down the microwave every other day.

These covers were just what I wanted. And their storage did not take up much space in the closet. They come in different sizes and if I wanted to I would cut the large ones to the size I need. I like to microwave poached eggs, so a simple lid on the small Pyrex bowl I use works great. The protrusions on one side of the lid face what you're covering, acting as a pressure relief rather than a flat surface.

We've had one of these for years and probably would have had it longer if our daughter hadn't accidentally put it on a warm flame and melted it at the start these weeks. We bought this pack and although we only use one of the lids the other 3 can be used for smaller items. Over time, the covers warp a little, they seem to bend a little, but that's not a problem. I bake a lot and often have to melt and soften the butter in the microwave. I had a bad habit of leaving it open and then squirting the oil over the microwave. I then spent the next 5 minutes cleaning the inside of the microwave. I ended up remembering to cover the oil tray, but I usually used a paper towel.
