🍇 Norpro Stainless Steel Grape Measuring Cup Set: 5 Piece, Reliable and Durable Review

The product description states the color of these mugs as 'Grape' and some of the photos indicate that at least part of each mug may be stained or stained. In fact, they are made entirely of beautiful, shiny stainless steel. Based on the great reviews this item received both at Revain and elsewhere, color wasn't too important to us and we weren't disappointed.

These cups are very well made from thick steel with smooth edges, although one of the cups had a sharp corner which I had to sand down a little to make it comfortable. Otherwise I would rate it 5 stars. The oval shape allows the cups to fit into narrow openings, and the grooves on the sides are very practical for smooth pouring of liquid contents. The 1/8 cup size is a welcome addition, although the 3/4 cup size will likely see more use.

This set of measuring cups fit together easily. It is made from very strong and heavy stainless steel and I believe it will last you a lifetime. Size markings are engraved on the handle and include US and metric units. Both US and metric sizes are engraved on the inside, showing the increments within that cup size. I've had it for about 11 months now. It's worth noting that the manufacturer recommends hand washing and I don't have a dishwasher so this wasn't a problem for me. The first impression was good. UPDATE 5/09/19 Subtract another star. About a year later, one of the measuring cup handles fell off. About a year ago, another handle came loose. Two of the five measuring cups lost their handles. Somehow defeats the purpose of buying supposedly durable metal measuring cups.
