Nifty Norpro Stainless Steel Funnel: Wide-Mouth with Handy Handle Review

I ordered this funnel because it was listed as 'Wide Mouth'. The funnel I received was not wide, it fits a regular sized glass. I would have sent the product back but my daughter tore off the label before I could try it on the jar.

Overall quality is ok. However, the glue used on labels is a poor choice. The top layer of the label will peel off, but the adhesive will not peel off. I worked on it for over 10 minutes and gave up. I prefer not to use harsh chemicals as I plan to use it for food. Come on guys...

It gets two stars because it successfully catches liquids and directs them into a smaller hole. took a lot of effort to remove them. Requires Goo Gone or similar chemical to remove stickers and it took me a few minutes to rub. The edge on the bottom was very sharp and cut my finger trying to remove the sticker (see photo). The thickness of the metal is just fur. it could be stronger.

A few years ago I bought a Norpro wide mouth stainless steel funnel from a kitchen store. It is used almost every day. I love it. It is brushed on the inside and shiny on the outside. This summer I visited my daughter for canned cucumbers. She didn't have a funnel. She now has a Norpro stainless steel wide mouth funnel (with handle of course). She loves it. I bought two of these in one order. Good news: the polished finish on the outside is fine. an almost identical funnel that we bought many years ago.
