This is my FAVORITE self tanner. It's positioned as a daily/gradual tanning product but after the first use the color is still great! Some other daily coloring takes quite a long time to develop and you will never get the color you want. I'm white as paper and Norvell tans like a beach tanner who tans every day with just a few uses! Consistent, I use 2 days in a row then 6 days of no use. I have ordered this 5 times before and all 5 times everything was fine. It was different this time. I've been using this product (the girl spraying me also uses Norvelle) for years so I'm very familiar with it. The cap on this bottle was black, not clear, and it came out super super liquid. Delivery was the slowest of the other 5 products ordered and water was leaking from the top of the lotion bottle which was very disappointing and shocking as you were not supposed to be using this lotion with dry hands because I have very dry hands. I am a fan of Norvell Sunless Tanning products. This is my first time using this particular item. It dries very quickly and doesn't have the smell that many tanning products have. I don't understand why other reviewers mentioned using lotion with this one, but I get it now - it's much darker than Norvell's other self tan color extender. This means you have to be a lot more careful as it will rub off more easily than a lighter colored lotion. I have found that blending works very well. I used the whole bottle and compared it to two other self tanners. This one is the best so far. My routine consists of a shower, a full body scrub and a shave. Towel dry and apply self-tanner. I use a generous amount, but just enough for it to absorb in less than a minute most of the time. I put it everywhere and don't put it on my knees or elbows. Works really well and I'm naturally tanned. Make sure you apply in good light to avoid streaks and apply light to knees and elbows as instructed. It really has such a weird smell, so drown yourself in your favorite scent afterwards. This smell will eventually go away.
