Great line: Sport

Great line for pulling big rope through trees, doesn't stick to branches and after a few shots with the notched bag launcher it lost its spiral memory and worked much better.

Pros
  • Heavy duty finish
Cons
  • Only available in white

good line. good for sports

This is a good line for ultra light skating lines. There is a coating on the outside that makes it a little smoother than the regular Samson lines. 1.75 is a little harder to put together, but it's really just in a burrow.

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • expensive

Notch vs Zing is good for other sports

Used Samson Zing and found the score line is not as flexible and tangles more easily than Zing. It's a good line though, strong enough and not too tight. The leash may become more flexible over time.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Used

Good with loops but not with adjustable closure.

For bowline, but not for adjustable hitches like guyline or prusik. If you're using it for tying guy lines with adjustable hooks or setting up canvas combs with Prusiks, use Zig-it or braided line.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Great Items: Equestrian

Love this item amongst all my other throws. It's thin but very durable and doesn't stretch at all. It has a waxy finish so it glides over branches, even with an 8-ounce bag. I also have a Dyna Glide, but I always choose the notch. This remains ready in my throwing cube

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Functionality

Like Zing-It - Tack

This looks like a decent product. Very similar to Zing-it. I owe my 3 stars to opening the packaging before shipping. This is the second package I have received from Amizon this month with a broken factory seal. I'm not sure what's going on in customer service/delivery. I'll call Reven today.

Excellent light rope

Excellent, lightweight and durable rope. Used it for stretch marks and a skate for my hammock camping tarp. Prussia and other knots seem to hold up very well and slide easily. Incredibly light. I tried splicing it to see if I could make a super duffle sling, but the wire I used kept snagging on the fibers as it was too rough to pass through such a small braided one hole to fit. I saved a few bucks by buying this instead of the Zing or Lash and so far have not complained.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
