Unreliable climbing gear

The Rope Runner Pro is not worth the investment. According to my experience it is unsafe and poorly designed. The Pro's sleek design and easy use were overshadowed by the fact that the rope slips randomly, putting a climber's safety at risk .Sports and Outdoors enthusiasts should avoid this product if they value their lives. The only pro of this product is that it looks good. The con, however, is that its functionality is far from satisfactory..

Pros
  • Smooth and easy descent due to the unique slide mechanism of the Rope Runner Pro
Cons
  • Difficult to adjust the friction on the rope while descending
