Pros
- Powerful i7 8550U processor (albeit of the old series - Kaby Lake), 16 gigs of RAM, 500 gigs SSD (from Kingston). Good build quality, pleasant keystrokes on the keyboard, a backlit keyboard (suddenly), a lot of expansion connectors such as HDMI, VGA, 3 USB ports and one Type-C port, as well as a full ethernet port (full in the sense that it is made monolithic, and not like on many models with a reclining bottom). Very bright matrix with good color reproduction. Due to not the thinnest case, the cooling system is well organized. Removable battery. The hardware is chosen in such a way that the laptop will work with both the Windows family OS and the Linux family OS (including 2022 assemblies, like Astra Linux).
Cons
- I can’t name them as such, except for nit-picking: 1. The power supply cable is rigid, the power supply plug is inserted all the way. 2. Devices in the USB connectors were stuck tight at first, I wanted to hammer some flash drives with a hammer (sarcasm, of course). 3. The cooling system is noisy, but at the same time does not cause irritation. 4. Apparently there are some features with the selection of drivers (drivers must be installed from the iRU official website, even if they were already automatically installed when installing Windows).
