The first thing I thought was how big these towels are! They weren't very absorbent either. I was a little disappointed, that is, until we washed them. I think I should have known this but they have shrunk a bit and the absorbency has increased by 10x. Very good towels.

I love the way they look but that's all about love. You're not taking in enough. I bought them because they were cotton. I don't know what to do with cotton to make it repel water but apparently there is a way. They're not the worst absorbents like synthetics, but I can't use them to dry dishes. I have to go back to my old towels.
