It blends easily and has the texture of chocolate milk

I mix it with water in a regular shaker with a metal ball in it. It blended easily and had the texture of chocolate milk. Notice I said texture, not flavor. The taste was slightly bitter and not at all sweet. People who use milk, yogurt, or other ingredients may have better flavor and a thicker texture. I happened to wake up hungry and found that after 2.5 hours (when I was supposed to have a snack) I was no longer hungry, so I would put that down to whey's ability to suppress appetite. I…

No frills, good texture, slightly sweet.

After trying several packages of whey protein powder full of artificial sweeteners and miles of lists of unpronounceable ingredients, I settled on something simpler, with natural ingredients, no fillers or artificial crap. I love it. It's not overly sweet like many proteins, but has a slight sweetness and a cocoa powder flavor, that's all. One of the best chocolate protein powders; and taste and result!

NOW Food offers excellent natural products with minimal processing. I have used several other products with good results. I think the prices there are very fair and all the products are of high quality. I have used many different proteins with AST VP2 being my top choice along with NOW Food Whey. AST is significantly more expensive, making NOW Serum a steal.
