Good heavy weight for sport

I've struggled to find heavy reins. They are perfect and essentially the same as my heavy splits. As always, NRS does great things.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Can't remember

He was very happy. He mentioned that he wished they had 2.

Husband gave the reins He was very pleased. He mentioned that he wished they had 2 shots instead of 1. Overall he was very pleased.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • A few little things

Premium heavyweight soft oiled leather

This is amazing! Perfect weight, great attachment to the bit (I removed the latch as I don't like metal on metal rattling). They feel like long used, well run reins when I first used them.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Exactly as advertised - loop reins

It was exactly as advertised. They are cable reins, i.e. loop reins. One side is a clip and the other just a loop so when dismounting you can unclip one side and lead the horse. They are made from durable, thick and very soft leather straight out of the box. Anyone who writes bad reviews because it's just a reason is just user error, because that's exactly what's being advertised.

Pros
  • Easy to fit
Cons
  • Fairly good

Great price, great design.

I like it because I have to get off the horse and move it quickly around the track because we are a pioneer team. I can dismount, buckle him up and have a rope to take him to where we need him, or I can tie him up while standing. It's great for the price and holds up well. He was also able to break free when he saw me being plowed by a bull and then jumping, so leather thinking is perfect for emergencies when a horse absolutely needs to break free. All the things you don't think about until…

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
