Nu Finish NFR 12 Rapid Detailer Review

Since I use Nu Finish wax and use a detailer spray between waxes I decided to give it a try. It's just as good as any other detailer I've used, maybe less oily so less buffing is required to remove blemishes (common for detailers). Spray foam is a trick; I would prefer regular spray. All in all, this is going to be my favourite. Just because I'm already a Nu Finish fan.

Very easy and machine looks great *IF* you wipe off excess product immediately after spraying. I started by covering the entire hood and then wiping it down. He left a lot of streaks. Luckily I sprayed more and followed the "wipe" rag with the "wipe" rag and it worked out fine. As for the rest of the car, I sprayed small areas of just a few square feet or so and immediately wiped them down with a dry cloth and it worked really well.

I've used this for years, first time in the sun on a worn red Pinto wagon (I said years) and learned a hard lesson in both the sun and the worn paint. If your paint is old, you need to sand/clay it first, otherwise erasing it can become a chore. If applied in the sun, be quick, it may fade, which can be corrected with repeated application, maybe several times. If it's "sloppy," don't use it.
