Bags are excellent so I give them high marks. They are very durable and serve me well with just about anything I can throw at them. However, the real machine is complex and difficult to operate.

I haven't tried it yet but I gave it 3 stars for now because one of the reels had a deep slot which means that I can. Don't use a good portion of the roll. I can't return it as I have to use it today. I will update my review of how it works after using it.

I've been vacuuming like crazy since I received this order. They work fine. But when I was about 2/3 of the roll done, there were a lot of folds on it. From this point, as the roll gets smaller, the wrinkles will increase. I have probably 1/5 of a roll left and the creases are really bad.

They are much thinner than most making them difficult to unfold. If what you stole isn't flat it will be very difficult to seal it properly. I've had to cut and re-seal many times because it creates a crease and doesn't seal it properly. I will never buy this again. I've been using vacuums for 15 years, so it's not due to operator error with the bags, it's the flimsy plastic. I worry if this will keep the food fresh in the freezer or if I'll show freezer burn on the fresh snapper I'm cooking.

I bought these sealer bags because I have a NurtriChef sealer that works very well. But bags? Not as much. I've always ordered bags from another company in my day and I hate to say the NutriChef people were so much better - they never had a problem with it. Now I have a few bags that I will never use!

I have a consumer vacuum packaging machine. These bags aren't as thick as the ones made specifically for my car, but so far they're working well. The roll the material is wound on is not suitable for my machine, so I cannot store it in the machine. A little less convenient, but the money saved is worth the effort. I just precut. I use bags to store yarn and sweaters as well as groceries.
