Amazing stuff for the body

Very good product. The knock in the trunk has been eliminated by 99%. Be careful with the aluminum edges as I cut my fingers a couple of times. Adhered very well. If installing on a trunk lid you may need to retrofit lifting legs as this material is heavy. I will definitely buy it again when I need to install car stereo.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some bugs

Good quality and unbeatable price

Good quality and unbeatable price. It's half the price of a Dynamat and a thicker mil, which means more soundproofing. I have a 1000 watts RMS 2000 watts peak subwoofer and it's all going to rumble. NO LONGER! This kit made me all the doors (4), roof and trunk! Look no further for a good silencer. I would buy again.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Frequency

Very impressive. in spares

I used to use Dynamat and had no problems with it, but I was looking for a cheaper alternative since I've been installing it on my work truck (SUV). It has lasted the last 4 months and the last few days have been 101. Odorless, thick, sticky and easy to install. I would recommend it to everyone and I will definitely use it again.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

It sticks well and is easy to apply.

I've applied a lot of this material and it seems to be working very well. I've noticed big improvements on doors, but I'm not sure how well this works on floors. It sticks well and is easy to apply. I have used other brands that lasted a while but eventually came loose from the trunk lid and this is not the case with this product.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Some difficulties

No worse than expensive brands.

ONLY used! NVX 90mil for over 8 years. NEVER withdrawn. Love you, EXO and Ed, but if you prep the surface "spray with water and dish soap" before application. Good luck with the takeoff. It has doubled in some places. The best soundproofing for the price! and depending on the project, 40mΒ² fit in a small car or truck. Tip: You don't need 100% coverage, 70 to 80 is good enough! for most jobs.

Pros
  • Eliminates road noise or excessive vibration coming from or around the vehicle.
Cons
  • Hard to say

Good material works as described

Works as advertised. I installed it near the tailgate of my 84th Corvette. It used to sound like a drum with a soft, light tapping on the surface. Now, after installing the soundproofing, the sound is much quieter. This area took 5 1/2 sheets. I'll move on with the rest of what I have left. It may also be necessary to finish the bottoms of the doors and the transversal tunnel. I am attaching a photo of the finished piece. I hope this helps you decide which sound deadening materials to buy.

Pros
  • Complete sound insulation kit for the entire vehicle/car. Can be used for areas such as the trunk, doors, roof and floor
Cons
  • The list is long.

Great product, especially at this price

One of the thickest materials on the market. The odor is very low and the quality of the aluminum is high. I was able to roll it into fairly deep crevices without breaking the aluminum. I have coated my whole car twice and with half an inch of acoustic foam on top there is no radiant heat in my car other than the windows. No, it goes through my doors into my door panels from my roof to the headliner. My AC has to run a lot less to keep my cabin cool, it may have added 60 or 80 pounds to my car…

Pros
  • With 40 square feet of lightweight molded aluminum material, enough to cover any problem areas that have been bothering you for so long
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great product at a great price

Very happy with this material. I've only used it on my two front doors so far but the results are excellent. Cuts very easily with a utility knife, adheres very well and bends around the bends and corners of the sheet metal much easier than I expected. I used 2 layers on the outer door and 3 layers behind the speakers with foam padding on top to absorb the incoming waves. Then I placed it on the inner door and sealed all the holes including the huge hole left by the manufacturer for servicing…

Pros
  • Significantly reduces rattle and vibration from heavy bass
Cons
  • Zero
