Toothed washing machine keeps falling off

Bought 2 of these. There is a toothed washer in the cover that holds the axle. It always fails. The last time it fell out my wife lost it. I will look for the best design.

Pros
  • Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Had to be fixed on delivery

Delivery was the slowest of several items I ordered on the same day. The delay seemed to be on the part of the seller who was slow in delivering the goods. When it arrived it looked fine but the mechanism was completely jammed. He doesn't know how to grind peppercorns at all. I disassembled it, put "not backwards" the details of the mill, now it works fine. Chinese product, no quality control. You get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Kitchen and dining room
Cons
  • Can't remember

Great value for money

Surprisingly strong and stylish pepper mill for seven dollars! I chose this after my Trudeau grinder broke after 5 months of use. The grind on this one isn't as adjustable as some of the more expensive ones (in the picture, the top grind stack is "good" with the nut tightened and the bottom stack is "good" with the nut loose), so if you need it you can a grinder that can truly cook real or broken peppers will not work. But it's satisfying for my hobby kitchen and the finish is perfect.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Misleading description

Textual description is misleading, multiple use of the plural makes the customer believe they are actually buying the set. Several times when reading the description, the words "this" were changed to "these", causing some confusion. I ended up buying this thinking it was a 'set' due to terms like 'salt and pepper grinders' only to find out I only bought ONE. So disappointing considering I could have gotten an actual set for just a dollar or two. So basically I have to pay almost double now…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No machine
