Overall it was a neat product. I was impressed that screwdriver was included to open the battery compartment. It was very colorful and worked well. I was disappointed that it was difficult to clean off. It reminded me of trying to clean off grease pencil marks (indicates my age, but the image should illustrate my point). Returning it since I feel my grandkids will spend more time trying to clean it than draw with it.

As soon as my 2 year older granddaughter opened her magic pad she immediately started playing with it. We had to convince her to give it up long enough to put batteries in it. She really enjoyed drawing with it and I was pleased that she had something she enjoyed playing with on her long ride home! Although I didn't get a picture of her with it I know this is something she will always be drawing with and will not hesitate to purchase it again as my other grands are a little older.

I love this light up sketch toy! It looks like a tablet but is much more lightweight and is great for those younger kids that aren't ready for their "kid tablet" yet. It comes with almost everything you need; just add 3 AAA batteries. They even included a screwdriver to remove the battery cover. Choose a game to play or design to trace and insert it into the top of the tablet. Once you're done, remove the white paper and replace with the black cardstock and voila! This is super simple and easy to use and a great activity for kids to travel with via plane or while driving.
