I bought this to hang my beach towels out to dry and found that this thing can literally be taken off of anything as it gets very heavy. I had to make homemade sandbags to secure this thing in place and still had trouble on windy days. If I were you I would give up and spend a little more to find something more durable and better quality.

Gathering was painful, instructions were very poor. Luckily, it's very simple, so you can figure it all out yourself. This rack idea is great. Very handy to have a hanger outside to hang our wet towels when we go inside. However, as soon as a hurricane hits, towels fall off the hanger. We have shelves on the porch where it's mostly weatherproof. But the stand is so fragile that it cannot withstand the wind. Almost every day we go outside and find towels and a wardrobe on the floor. I knew this wasn't going to be a quality item at this price point but I wasn't thrilled with it. I just put it together so not sure how it will work but I expect to have rollovers as others have commented. The assembly instructions are the worst I've ever seen.
