Once you mount it on any surface, it becomes a reliable auto focus. This is ideal for musicians to clamp on.

This is the only one I've found for the 13 inch iPad Pro. You can't have a cover for it to work, and it's FIRM, but it works really well (you have to stretch it all the way. At first I thought it wouldn't work). I would give 5 stars. if I didn't have to take the lid off to use it. but if you have a smaller iPad, it doesn't even affect you. I don't dispute that it is very well designed - Great flexibility of movement in a small space - Good base clip and firm finger grip on the tablet and a quick release feature that beats the competition. An annoying issue is the locking mechanism at each end of the fully bendable link arm - which is normal for the person who owns it and "protects" their gear from breakage, but it doesn't work in a production environment where users pick up a tablet and rotate Flip it to rotate in…

Cleverly designed product but fits the iPad Pro perfectly

WARNING! There are two versions of this product. They are the same except the v2 version opens wider and fits the iPad Pro. They sent me the wrong version and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working until I called support and they confirmed they sent me the old version. . And Octa's support team answered the phone perfectly and agreed to replace the product immediately. They sent a new version the next day. The wrong product aside, the mount itself is amazing! I love everything about this mount. I read reviews of every iPad mount I could find before deciding on this one despite the high price. It's a super complex construction and the best workmanship I've ever seen. It's built so expertly that it can get a little confusing on how things work until you get it and try it.
