A must for car work

This is what you need when you work on a car. This saved me a lot of time with an oil sensor that was a better fit than the bushing that was for the sensor.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • So-so

Perfect for my use with Triple Square Drive

I have this nut for removing the output flange nut on a Getrag 260 transmission (used in older BMWs). For those wondering, yes it will work! The service manual calls for a "thin wall 30mm deep socket" although I'm sure there are sockets with thinner walls, this one does the job well.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Modern

Not Thin Wall - Custom Powered Outlets

Called a thin wall outlet, it's not. This is the same diameter as my regular outlet. Should show actual diameter measurement to avoid errors. Yes, it's a 27mm jack, but it doesn't fit where I need it because it's not very thin. I don't trust these people anymore.

Pros
  • Best in Their Niche
Cons
  • Some Little Things

Will not fit all BMW rear wheel nuts

I bought this to remove a Getrag 260 rear wheel nut on my 87 535i. It doesn't fit, probably 31 or 32mm. As already mentioned, 30 mm is not suitable for this model. The socket is ok, it is in the box. I hope I need something else. I'm going to get a lathe for my 31 and 32mm, let's see what fits. Should have done that in the first place. The socket is of high quality, made in Taiwan.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Repair

very good bushing - it had a noticeable notch

Fits perfectly on my 2003 BMW 325i (E46) differential input nut. The study showed that many of those who claimed they were thin-walled actually weren't.) It had a decent nick on the front edge of the base (and a smaller nick on the back of the base), which appears to be a manufacturing defect and shouldn't affect its performance at all - that's the only reason I've given it 4 stars.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Vulgarity
