Type of review

After speaking to a reputable local shop they told me that they should use such a tool when removing a tire from a car for political reasons. Now I understand why. Noticeable vibration reduction due to unevenly mounted tires and brake discs. This is my new go-to tool when I'm working on brakes. My last set of rotors wore out unevenly because no one used a tool like this.

Pros
  • Buffing and Buffing Pads
Cons

Works well for removing surface rust from wheel hubs

Used this on my drill to clean wheel hubs. He did a good job removing the surface rust next to the screws. Ideally you should finish the rest of the bushing surface with a sander and rollers. I didn't have one, so I just used it for the rest of the interface. A little difficult to stabilize for this purpose, but it was good enough. One washer has held all 4 hubs on me and probably would 4 more. They would certainly last a lot longer if you just used them to clean behind the bolts.

Pros
  • Body Repair Tools
Cons
  • Wrinkled

These things are amazing!

They do an excellent job cleaning the hubs around the studs, which is the hardest part to clean. I still use a spoked wheel to give it the finishing touch, but it's a lot easier, faster, and requires less work. I would recommend a cordless drill that doesn't spin very fast to keep those things from flying off the base. I agree with another review that the bit that goes in the feed needs to be longer but still works great.

Pros
  • SURFACE REPLACEMENT BRAKE HUB: Brake hub maintenance is essential to the overall health of your braking system; Our hub cleaner kit easily removes rust on hub bolts and rotor assemblies.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Did the job of buffing and buffing pads

Just finished using the brakes on all four wheels. Cleaned the hub pretty well on all 4 corners (and 20 lugs). The pad bounced a few times when used at high rpm and on the last hub it caught on one of the lugs and tore a bit. Otherwise they make a well-made impression and hold up well. It fits snugly between the studs and the hub, so may not fit all (small) cars. In general it worked fine. Pretty cheap. I'm glad I bought it

Pros
  • AVAILABLE TOOLS: This wheel stud cleaning tool is compatible with most electric drills; Simply select one of the pads and insert the shank into the drill; Low RPM and constant pressure will remove rust easily.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pickaxes.

. Tire the vehicle for political reasons. Now I understand why. Noticeable vibration reduction due to unevenly mounted tires and brake discs. This is my new go-to tool when I'm working on brakes. My last set of rotors wore out unevenly because no one used a tool like this.

Pros
  • NUT REPAIR: Using a wire brush is ineffective; Our Rotor Rust Remover is applied to lug nuts to repair the space between the nut and the brake hub without disassembling the hub.
Cons
  • Equipment Sad

This will save you money in the long run.

I use it every time I change rotors or all and then when I change tires. The reason why your tires are shaking can be as follows. In fact, your brakes will work better too. If the rust is between the wheel hub and the rotor, it will wear your rotors badly and they will start shaking after a few thousand miles. Even if they are new. You'll thank me later if you do. I have long wondered what is causing my brakes to shake after a few months. After several sets of brake pads, new brake calipers…

Pros
  • SPECIFICATIONS: Includes 4 washers and mounting surface with accessible shaft; Can be used on cars, light trucks and SUVs
