Works fine, but quality leaves me a little cold.

Once it arrived and I unpacked this bender I immediately noticed two quality issues. One is merely cosmetic in nature that relates directly to how the item is painted/coated. The finish is uneven and splotchy in some areas and almost absent in others. I can live with cosmetic problems given the price of the tool though. The other issue that I had is with it's actual function. The black bar that goes between the upper and lower handles and allows it to bend the tubing on mine was installed…

Pros
  • Needed it for a (probably) one time fuel line repair. Worked out well for me.
Cons
  • Dos not fit 3/16 as advertised, even the package states 1/4 is smallest size. I returned mine.

Couldn't "Bend " My way out of this one

I can't really blast this item, because it could be that someone who really knows how to use it would be more adept with it, but I didn't find it particularly intuitive, and couln't really get the knack of using it properly. I don't believe that it came with any instructions either. Maybe I'm just dumb but usually figure this stuff out.

Pros
  • works great
Cons
  • Not as precise as other tubing benders: The calibration of the tubing bender may not be as precise as other models on the market, leading to inaccurate bends that can be frustrating to work with

BB in G Body for my opinion

Handles not long enough for me when bending gas line steel tubing. Required a lot of effort, but gets the job done. It’s works for what it’s intended!

Pros
  • It’s works for what it’s intended
Cons
  • The OEMTOOLS 25179 fuel and brake line tubing bender can only be used to bend 1/4 inch, 5/16 inch, and 3/8 inch fuel line tubing, which is a major limitation for those with different tubing sizes

Quality tool, good price, exactly what I needed.

I found this bender to be a quality tool that met my needs very well. revain had the best price, too. I have a plier-type bender from a major-name tool company that is great for when you have plenty of room to work, but this OEM 25179 fit nicely into the tight places I found myself in while doing a brake line replacement job on a mid-sixties Chevrolet.

Pros
  • works for my needs and I'm doing it myself instead of paying some repair guy to do the work for me
Cons
  • Durability issues

Very useful Tube Bender

I'm using this to bend 3/8 stainless tubing and it works great.I was surprised how well it worked, very simple but effective.Very useful tool to have in my home brewery.

Pros
  • It did whAT i NEEDED WITHOUT KINKING THE LINES. A bit large for some places that I needed to bend.
Cons
  • Possibility of damage to the tubing

Very Cool Tool. on my review.

In the restoration of my 78 Dodge Pickup truck, I needed to run all new brake lines, fuel lines and return lines. Worked perfectly in creating the custom bends and correct routing I needed to make to the generic strait SS lines I bought. Used Stainless steel because of Flex fuel (Alcohol) usage.

Pros
  • Works like you would expect it to. Simple to operate and does a good job.
Cons
  • Not user-friendly: The instructions for using the tubing bender are not very clear, leaving users to figure out how to use it on their own which can be challenging

Tubing bender in my review

Nice tool, and easy to use. Good purchase price. I was able to make some nice bends in tight locations with it. Limited angle range: The OEMTOOLS 25179 fuel and brake line tubing bender can only bend up to 90 degrees, making it not as versatile as other tubing benders on the market.

Cons
