Thrown in the trash - unusable

He ruined my pipe so much that I think it's unusable. It also doesn't completely close around the pipe. Luckily I found my old one after ordering this one.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Minor problems

It may become unusable before you've finished the first whistle!

The thread of the clamp that holds the pipe broke the first time it was used. It's made of very soft metal. I will buy some nuts and bolts and everything will work but very disappointed!

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • thin

You get what you pay for

I needed a single tube flare connection that connects natural gas to my furnace. After asking for one to borrow and turning up dry, I decided I needed to buy a torch tool. In a large box on site, they cost about $30. It was a $10 deal as I was planning to only use the tool once and didn't need an expensive tool. it arrived pretty quickly. I was able to get the extension right but there was some slippage and the locking bars bent quite easily but for a one time use it worked.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Doubt

Most cheap tools don't work properly

This is one of those tools that makes you regret buying a cheap tool. I took a chance as it would be a one time use and unfortunately it was unsuccessful. In some cases you can get away with cheap tools, but the risk is always high. Most of the time your time is spent making it work. What should have been a 10-15 minute job turned out to be 2 hours as I had to run in HD to get what worked. This tool will not hold 1/2 copper pipe. Slippage is a common downside that you see in other reviews. I…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • No mold required
