Get what you pay for

This is a fairly simple design and may work for you if you can find an "anchor point" close to and parallel to the screw being tightened. It worked on a few screws and then failed. No matter what your settings are, I don't think it will take long for anyone. Spend more for one that has an articulating arm and clip. If you need it to keep the engine running, it's too important to be wrong.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Damaged

Most reviews were not good. I needed one to complete the car's suspension.

Before buying this brand I read many reviews about similar/other brands in the same caliber. Most reviews were bad. I needed one to complete a car suspension repair. This brand is well built in price and application. Yes, the thumbscrew assembly for the pointer support arm is plastic. but it works fine

Pros
  • Good product for the price

Works, but annoying

Good tool. Used it to tighten the head of a 2004 Cavalier 2.2 ecotec. The tool worked, but the small hand holding it steady is a bit distracting. I wouldn't recommend this for someone who uses it all the time, but it's worth it for someone who needs it intermittently. It's not the best in the world - it's mostly plastic and I can see it has a very limited lifespan.

Pros
  • One year test
Cons
  • Almost never

Do Not Buy!: Hand Tool

Very cheaply made, fell apart while screwing. I have questioned the accuracy of all my head bolts. Unfortunately, you will have to buy and redo new cylinder head gaskets. The OEM makes some decent tools, but this is definitely not one of them. Don't waste your money with this tool. I'm amazed that such an important tool can be such garbage and worse sold to people. What happened to quality products, it seems like they don't exist anymore, especially when they come from China.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Broken design in wrenches

torque meter held 4 bolts (out of >20 on the oil pan) before the rubber gasket holding the clear plastic cover failed rendering it totally unusable. Too bad nobody has come up with a better design and most of the other ones available look like this. I'm not sure I'm willing to spend more than $100 on electronics. Having this product on the same page as Torque Wrenches gives the false impression that it has good reviews. Torque wrenches might work, but for me a torque angle sensor isn't worth

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Great neck angle torque sensor 25424

I just used one of these I bought a few months ago to apply 2 75 degree orbits to Nissan cylinder head bolts. Altima QR25DE 4 cylinder engine. It was working fine until a nut fell out or something. It's somewhere in my head. I need a very small bloodhound to get under the valve springs and get that little piece. I don't know if the lost part is metal or plastic. After unsuccessfully trying to find it with a vacuum cleaner, since there is no tiny bloodhound, I think it's time to try a magnet…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
