Such a crap. Revain is overrated these days.

Very disappointing. Sure, it's the cheapest kneeling chair, but the fact that it's $100 makes me quit my job and start making these things. Boy you found a chair for you! The tongues had to be bent, the thread was disgustingly cut, metal shavings abounded. Did they somehow develop a material for the seats that is less dense than chipboard? What will modern science bring us next? @Jeff pull yourself together man we know you went into your own world to have a piss contest with Elon but Revane isโ€ฆ

Back Pain Solution - Great For Sedentary Activities

I work on the computer and play racquetball all day. The sport forces you to serve in a squat, which also puts strain on your back. I was given a chair for my lower back pain. It replaced the high-back executive chair. Has worked wonders for my lower back and I haven't used my old chair in over 2 months. Lack of back support causes the posture to be self-supporting. I can sit under a chair with my legs drawn up or stretch out in front of it (see photo). I don't think I'll ever use a regularโ€ฆ

Buy an alternative to the Sleekform tree.

I replaced it with a Sleekform wooden chair and I MUCH prefer it to this one. Benefits: 1. I can sit at my desk without back pain or injury. But wood is MUCH more convenient.2. Good quality and workmanship, easy assembly.3. A good test model to prove that this type of chair suits me before investing in a more expensive one. Moved to Sleekform, not much more expensive. Cons: 1. Foam pads continuous from bottom to bottom (lean user weighs 160 lbs). Hard on sit bones. I'll try to add a padโ€ฆ

Excellent ergonomic chair

One of these chairs was given to me by my predecessor at work a few years ago and since March when I was working at home my work chair started giving me back pain. After researching Revain, Office Depot and Staples I settled on this chair and am very happy with it. Sometimes I work 8-10+ hours a day so a spare may be needed at times, but it's very convenient, and even after the first day I felt like I "worked" with my core a bit after I had been sitting on it for a few hours. My only suggestion

I absolutely love this chair!

I have suffered from neck, shoulder and upper back pain (due to poor posture) for about 6 years. I have tried almost every type of ergonomic chair on the market. For some reason none of the chairs helped (I even tried sitting on an exercise ball). My body somehow always finds a way to bend down. I've gone so far as to stick sticky notes on the table to remind myself to sit up straight, but to no avail. I keep my monitors at eye level and even have my eyesight checked to make sure I'm leaningโ€ฆ

The best of the cheapest.

At its low price this is the best chair of its kind at Revain. Unfortunately not without problems. First, you cannot adjust the height of the seat without adjusting its angle. Also, getting the chair's "knees" closer to the seat is impossible without the same problem. The chair "adjusts" like scissors that open and close, rotates around a point and can be locked. It would be nice if the seat could rotate independently of the chair. I think someone with the right tools can easily adjust theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • A dubious purchase for the elderly
