I was disappointed with the performance of these shears, the blades come apart at the slightest difficulty in cutting. If you're buying to cut wrapping paper or individual sheets of paper, that's fine. Not suitable for other purposes.

With fingers that sometimes hurt from arthritis these scissors are useful and easy to use. Good grip and excellent cutting edges. I have two pairs. One in my home office and one in my kitchen drawer.

This product is great for paper and thin card, but my (very dull) kitchen scissors did a much better job with plastic packaging than these scissors. Remember the product belongs to "Officemate", not "Kitchenmate" or "AllOverHousemate" :)

I bought these as filler for free shipping they work fine nothing fancy. The two tone color is a great reminder that you didn't buy this at a dollar store. The orange portion of the plastic grip feels a bit pliable, which is nice for tactile feedback.

These things are built to last - very durable, nice heavy construction. I can't stand those cheap scissors. They seem essential and carry a certain weight; not as constructed nonsense as some of the others. I've been using it for over a year and I'm very happy with it.

I was skeptical about buying these scissors at first because I'm left-handed and scissors don't usually fit me. These scissors are of surprisingly high quality and cut very well with the left hand. They are comfortable to hold and feel well built. I would recommend them to anyone left or right handed who needs them.

Scissors looked good on Amazon but the ones I received looked like they had been heavily used despite being sealed in the packaging. Because? The handles of the scissors (polymer/plastic) were dented or cut. Not to mention the overall look and poor finishes. But since this is just scissors and they do their job well I won't often leave them out, but if you're a perfectionist stay away. Perhaps a bad finish on the grips can scratch the skin, just to say.
