Purchased to have an alternative mounting option for my microphone so my camera could still move freely on the mount when I go into flashlight mode . works great for my needs.

I was looking for a way to place the mic on a gimbal, but quickly found that when the camera was moved, the mic stayed in a fixed position. It's clearly not ideal. I stumbled across this and the solution is perfect. The microphone and your camera always point in the same direction. It's easy to add/remove once you've replaced your existing gimbal stop as you only need to screw on/unscrew the plate for use and storage.

Perfect fit for my needs. An overpriced piece of metal that causes it to fit sideways into the Weebill glider chamber (read the install instructions, use a microscope to read the instructions). I needed a microphone. Only one screw is useful. This guide has a stopper that will not allow you to slide all the way into the gimbal nut to adjust the range.
