OGIO 122107_113 Blue Reservoir Packaged Review

This is my second Resevior Ogio and they have been amazing. The first one broke in 3-4 years but I was very rough with it. I loved the spaciousness and ease of use of this product!

This reservoir is part of the hydroblock. The blue cap on the top of the tank broke after only 2 uses and broke completely after a short season. Poorly made and too fragile.

I don't know why everyone is complaining about this tank. I've been using mine regularly for almost 2 years now and have never had any problems with it. The hose is the perfect length and the angle of the mouthpiece is perfect for a quick drink while riding a motorcycle. I've made several cross-country trips with this tank and never had a single problem. If this tank ever fails I will replace it with the exact same one! I highly recommend!

This tank came with an Ogio backpack I bought last summer. It worked great in the summer until I recently tried to snap the latch for snowboarding. The clasps are poorly designed and the little spikes that twist to secure the bladder are broken off. It's a shame as I liked the grip of this bubble. I guess I need to get back to CamelBak (pun intended), which has never let me down since 2000. Fix this bubble's locking mechanism and I'll definitely be back!

This bottle is fantastic, love it! BUT, the two blue swivel loops holding the top are very easy to break. The problem is, if you don't squeeze the two sides of the balloon together absolutely firmly and then twist the hinge, the plastic of the hinge will be cut from the receiving side of the hinge. I've read about this in reviews before so I've always been very careful, but I just broke the second blue loop on my OGIO bladder :( I'll probably find a locking mechanism of its own if it falls…

Disclaimer for this product. This tank was part of the Ogio KTM Team Dakar Hydroback. Perhaps the most expensive hydropack. The problem is the little blue plastic caps that close the bladder. They are extremely fragile. If the seam isn't perfectly aligned, the blue plastic fasteners will break immediately. Mine broke on the first use of the packaging and the replacement parts broke on the third use. Ogio won't replace the blue strands, just the entire bubble, and that's taken months. All they…
