Caution Beauty and Personal Care

Shortly after the purchase I received an email about a class action lawsuit against this company alleging that their shampoo contains a chemical that causes scalp irritation and possible hair loss.

Yes it's fine - shampoo and conditioner

After seeing many conflicting reviews on this product I decided to do it anyway. I was told that tea tree would help with my dry scalp and hair nutrition. My hair seems to feel less dry a few hours after using it, but then it just goes back to how it normally feels after using a product I've used before. This product did not help my dry scalp at all or made it worse so take it for what it is. The batch I received although the smell is actually good and lasts for quite a while is the only plus I

Refreshing: shampoo and conditioner

I've been using Biolage for years and the sulphate has caused dandruff. I started using this and within a week my scalp felt amazing. The smell is so refreshing and my hair feels so healthy. I've been using it for 2 months now and no problems.

Pros
  • Long lasting finish
Cons
  • Dull packaging

Where is the tea tree? where is mint

I'm honestly confused by all the rave reviews. I used KICK Tea Tree Shampoo (1.39 c/oz). This OGX shampoo costs only 0.39 cents an ounce, is a Revain Choice product and has a 4.5 star rating from over 3,000 reviewers. Does it cost much less and yet is so expensive? Sounds too good to be true. But I felt compelled to try it myself. Well it really is too good to be true. I don't smell the typical strong tea tree smell at all, even when I hold the shampoo to my nose. And when I apply it to my…

Great scent: hair care

I bought this for my son who I have to remind him to shower several times. i like the scent I've often wondered if he washed his hair, but with this product I know he washed his hair.πŸ‘

The recipe has changed - the new fragrance smells like chemical waste

I've been buying this rubbish for years. It smelled great. I have ordered more. The smell of mint overshadowed some turpentine, chemical smell. It's terrible. I checked my old bottle and this new bottle. The formula has changed. I think it's rubbish. I would return it but it's not worth the postage and hassle of getting $9 and some change back.

Pros
  • tingles
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Smells amazing! for shampoo and conditioner

I decided to try this product after seeing it in a friend's bathroom. I really like the smell and have included it in my "self care routine". I'm not a morning person but I use the motivation of this great smelling shampoo and conditioner set to get out of bed and into the shower to start my day. It lathers well and cleans the hair well. I chose a larger bottle for the best value as I like to have it on hand at all times.

  • Impressive

VERY good replacement for Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shampoo

Decent shampoo does what it says on the tin. I use these types to control cystic acne on my head and face. And it helps. I'm used to using Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree Shampoo, but this is a good substitute. Docent has the same strong mint smell as PM but cleans well and works for me.

Pros
  • High marks for support and longevity from testers
Cons
  • No color required
