Mechanical triple beam balance with 2610g capacity and 0.1g readability (also called accuracy). Three sliding weights and notched and tiered beams help ensure accurate readings and repeatable results. Stainless steel 14.73 x 14.73cm weighing platform is corrosion resistant. Built-in storage lock protects balance by reducing the possibility of damage when it is being moved or stored. Compartment on the base of the balance stores the included mass set when not in use.

Excellent value triple balancer

Excellent value triple balancer. Came with everything you need to successfully pass the given high school level lessons. Well done.

not like I remembered from my school days

poor quality. I know right? All the parts were there, everything seemed fine, but in the end I decided to return it and go with the price on the nominal digital scale. Was a bit disappointed. Unexpectedly!

Attach center weight to slider

Arrived quickly and undamaged. The average weight of the scale was not attached. I called and they explained how to attach it. There is a recessed area on the slide where you can attach the weight. From the front you can't see it from the numbers. I'd like more help using the clamp and bar for the gravity part when using this scale, but other than that it's a great tool.
