Cannot be fixed on a round surface. This only works if your golf cart has a flat or rectangular surface that you want to mount it on. Most push-pull golf carts have rounded handles. So it's almost useless. I had to return it.

Very good value product. The design is marginal at best. The umbrella is light, but the product flexes very easily at the connection point, making it feel unstable and making you want to steady it with your hand while walking, which kind of defeats its own purpose. I will continue to use it but I am not very happy with the product.

Does not stand upright on the steering wheel. The mechanism is not tight enough or stays tight to hold the umbrella. There should be a rubber pad to grip the handlebars and lock washers to keep them taut. When I put my umbrella in, I still have to hold on to it to keep it from tipping forward and smashing my umbrella on the ground. The only purpose it serves is to allow the handlebars to support some of the umbrella's weight so it doesn't feel that heavy to me.

I attached the item to a golf cart handle but the screws provided were too short to fit I bought larger screws and they fit, but during dressing, the object continued to rotate back and forth under the weight of the umbrella. It could not be fixed in a vertical position. At some point during the first use, the umbrella fell off and the base holding the mug broke completely, rendering the item unusable.
