Excellent absorbency

Very fine grit (particle size) for quick and effective absorption. Both bentonite and kaolin clay act in the same way as an absorbent. Useful properties are due to the increased surface area. If you use cat litter give this product a try, you won't go back to litter again.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Very expensive

Requires very little for household cleaning

Requires very little liquid to soak up the liquid, I used it on an oil spill which I diluted with mineral spirits. I wiped the oil off, then wiped the area down with mineral spirits, put some product on it and let it sit for a couple of hours. It soaked up the liquid from the concrete, leaving only a shadow where the oil had been.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Available in white only

Hardly better than nothing

Used several times since I bought it half a year ago. Works a little if you have an oil slick, but not really much to remove the stain left on the garage floor. In fact, the granules look the same when I sweep them. You might think they are all black and oily. Having used half a pack for a few months I would not buy them again.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • There are defects

Smaller granules. - Household goods

Different from my usual drying oil. Very small granules, not like cat litter. Adding based on other questions. See my drawing for ingredients and warnings. It seems a bit risky to use it frequently. I don't know what the rest is made of, but I won't buy it again. Simply using dirt seems like a better option than risking this material.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Reliable
