Brown Oilskin Cap - One Size Fits All, 6-Panel Design Review

Bought as a gift for Dad. I was incredibly happy with the quality of this hat - it's well made and the colors are appealing - overall a great combination. I was very proud to give it as a gift - highly recommend!

I love the hat. Best ever, maybe for comfort and looks. Second order. At first I thought it was shiny. But I'm used to it. Personally, I'd be better off without barbed wire on the bill, but that's okay. Very high quality, I recommend

Love how this cap fits and keeps its shape. The front part is vertical, of medium height. Fits like a trucker hat but not as high. The color is very dark brown, almost chocolate with black ligature and barbed wire. It drains water fairly well since it's coated in wax.

This is my second hat like this. Forest is actually still good. I like the pressed wax/rubber canvas that offers good protection from rain and debris. I get very dirty at work but this hat doesn't rub off thanks to the materials. It stays practically clean. I will always wear this hat as long as they make it like this.

Perfect fit, very comfortable, looks very good, made of high quality materials, the front is structured to keep its shape, very nice black logo with a brown deer in it The center and Black Barbed Wire, the perfect color combination, can't imagine anyone not very pleased to own it and wear it with pride, the looks and the compliments are priceless.

Replaces most of my cowboy hat. I said to myself why I wear a cowboy hat so often, I'm a farmer, not a cowboy. I can slaughter a bull, but I mainly raise pigs and grow corn. The hat came in a good box, not quite crumpled in the envelope. The oil also smells nice, like you just changed the oil in the combine. The velcro on the back is pretty strong.

I bought this hat for my husband and we both love it! The trim, although artificial, does not detract from the beauty and quality of the cap. It's unique, covers blemishes accurately, and overall is a great purchase. Among the many models in his collection, also with individual cuts, this model stands out. This will be his favorite Deere work cap for years to come.

I bought this hat in 2015 and I really like it. (see photo on the left) Bought again in 2021 and returned. (see picture on the right) Because it does NOT look like oilcloth anymore. It's only brown; not fashionable; not my taste. If it is not the same product; it must be specified as a new element. Because most of the reviews and 5 stars are for the old version of this hat.

I liked the look and detailing of this John Deere hat compared to the standard green/yellow hat. Husband gets many compliments when he wears it. Actual color is darker than stated on Amazon website but still happy with the hat. This is a unique looking hat that you won't actually see and I would recommend this hat if you don't mind that it's a darker shade of brown.
